Welcome to Parking and Civil Unit
We are now located in the City and County Building at 451 South State Street, Room 145. The Parking/Civil Unit handles parking notices, impound hearings, ground transportation, alarm violations, snow removal, loud party, and animal control.
You can make payments three ways:

If mailing in your payment, make checks or money orders payable to Salt Lake City Corporation. Enclose the parking notice, snow removal, ground transportation, delinquent letter or billing notice with your payment for proper credit. Enclose the correct amount due. Late payments will be credited as partial payments. Please write the citation number on your check or money order. Do not mail cash.

Appealing Parking/Civil Notices
- Not knowing City, State, or Federal Laws

If you have received a parking/civil notice and have questions, you may call 801-535-6116. To speak to a Hearing Officer email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or come in person to speak with a Hearing Officer at The City and County Building, 451 South State Street, Room 145.
Hearing Officers are available to help you Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 451 South State Street, Room 145, Salt Lake City Utah. You do not need an appointment unless you need an impound hearing. The best time to see a hearing officer is between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. To avoid waiting in line to see a Hearing Officer for payment of fines, please make your payment online, by mail or calling (801)535-6116.
