In 2006 we began a partnership with the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS), the Western Barbeque Association and the Utah Barbeque Association to present Utah's first official BBQ Championship Cook-off (We've even received the Governors Declaration!). Along with bigger cash prizes, this event is officially sanctioned by the KCBS, so our champions win a coveted invitation to the BBQ Big Time – The Jack Daniels World Championship Invitational and the 28th Annual American Royal Barbeque (the biggest BBQ contest in the world!).
The Gallivan Amphitheater will be center stage for live rock ‘n' roll music all day long. Food/craft vendors, cook-off competitors and kids' inflatable's will be situated throughout the plaza. This is first and foremost a family event…think picnic blankets, late summer nights, cool grass and great food. Admission only $5 at the gate!
