Short-Term Volunteer Opportunities

Arts Council
  • Twilight Concert Series: Participate in one of the most fun SLC summer events by volunteering for the Twilight Concert Series! Volunteers are needed between June and August each year to help take tickets, greet guests, and run drink and snack stations. 
  • Living Traditions: Each May, the SLC Arts Council and Salt Lake City host a wonderful cultural event - the Living Traditions Festival. We need volunteers to help in the children’s area, with beverage sales, crafts booths, and maintenance. More information on the 2015 festival coming in February 2015.
Gallivan Center
  • Monster Block Party: Join the Gallivan Center and Service in the City in October 2015 to host a great Halloween celebration for our community. Volunteer at craft, game, and cookie decorating booths. More information on the 2015 event coming in September.

  • Bike Count: Help our transportation department each September by collecting data on our biking community. Bike Count 2014 is now over. More information on 2015's count coming in August 2015.
Design Your Own Service Project
  • One Time Events: If you're part of a group of 10+ people, looking for a 2 - 3 hour project, and interested in cleaning up a park, open space, or water conservation garden area, contact  Amanda Anderson to request an event. Please include in your email the size of your group, day and time requested, and age range of participants.
