SLC Green - Mobility & Transportation
Aside from creating and supporting safe, highly connected, and walkable neighborhoods, Salt Lake City continually works on creating a transportation system designed to move people, not just automobiles. In addition to its successful light rail and bus systems, the city has established more than 150 miles of bike and pedestrian ways, a robust car share program, and incentives and access to efficient vehicles and alternative fuels.
