The Salt Lake City Golf Division offers many great
programs that help develop the skills necessary to
appreciate and enjoy the game of golf. We

Keep
it simple
|
|
Start
your child with a baseball grip and let them swing
naturally. Early on, it's more important to have
fun than to develop swing mechanics.
At about
age eight, kids are able to understand and enjoy
learning the mechanics of the swing. |
Be
patient
|
|
Golf
is a game for a lifetime and can be an excellent way
to develop relationships within a family.
Kids get tired after only a few shots,
so be patient with the progress; it's worth the
investment of time.
