To obtain a vehicle release, accrued fees must be paid in accordance to Ordinance 12.96.05. Fees are paid at the Salt Lake City Police Department. You may pay with cash or any major credit card. No money will be accepted at the impound lot.
To retrieve a vehicle you must have government-issued photo identification (driver license, passport, or state identification).
