| Stage I has been approved
by the Salt Lake City
Council.
Not all the
design elements in Stage 1 will be constructed because of fund
shortage and decisions made by the City Council that no design
element should be constructed if it mandates future
improvements. For example, construction of underground
conduit for future security lighting improvements was removed
because it would create the expectation that the lights would
be funded in a future stage. At this point in time the City
Council has said it will not fund a future stage for the park.
