How do I pick up a company-owned vehicle?
You will need a legal document showing the name of the business and the owner. You will also need permission to retrieve the vehicle, written on your company's letterhead and faxed in advance to the impound lot. (801.974.2407)
I am not the registered owner. What do I need to bring to pick up the vehicle?
You will need a notarized letter from the registered owner that gives you permission to retrieve the vehicle.
The owner is deceased. What do I need to bring to pick up the vehicle?
You will need a copy of the death certificate and proof of relationship to the deceased.
I work for a towing company that has been asked to pick up the vehicle. What do I need to bring with me to have the vehicle released?
You will need an authorization letter from the insurance company or a notarized letter from the registered owner giving your company permission to pick up the vehicle.
I just purchased the vehicle . . .
You will need the original title properly endorsed to you. If you do not have the title, you must go to the DMV and start the registration process.
What happens if I don't pick up my vehicle?
Your vehicle will be sold at auction.
