TIPS FOR CASH 

YOU TIP THE COPS AND THE COPS TIP YOU. 

Salt Lake City Police Department is offering rewards up to $5,000 for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of criminals in our community. 

To report criminal behavior, call 799-INFO (4636) and the police will assign you a confidential number. You may send e-mail to tipsforcash@slcgov.com 

You can call and remain completely anonymous and still receive reward money. 

If you need immediate attention, call 799-3000 for non-emergencies or 911 for emergencies.

Salt Lake City Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

At approximately 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2007, an unidentified man entered the Maverik at 1700 South 300 West and robbed the store. 

The suspect approached the clerk and intimated that he was holding a handgun inside a brown paper bag. The suspect demanded money, and the clerk complied. The suspect then left the store and fled northbound on foot. 

The man is described as Caucasian, 30-35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches, 190 pounds, with a medium build. He has black facial hair, and was wearing blue jeans, a dark-hooded sweatshirt, and a gray and white striped beanie cap.

Callers can remain anonymous, and there is a cash reward being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
