9-Line Bike Park

Project Description

Salt Lake City Parks and Public Lands is planning to expand the existing bike park located at 900 South and 700 West. The unique project area encompasses 1.3 acres of property owned by Salt Lake City. The final project will provide users with a unique recreational amenity for Salt Lake City residents. The project will include the following features:

New Jump Lines: Construction of beginner, intermediate and advanced jump lines. The City is interested in using shipping containers to provide raised entrance locations into the jump lines. These containers will help reduce the amount dirt needed, provide space for community art projects, and provide storage for tools and materials.

Pump Track: The project will integrate the existing pump track into the overall project area. Minor improvement may be made to this feature, but this area will still continue to accommodate both beginner and intermediate users.

Shade Structure: The project will provide a shade structure that will be located between the existing pump track and the bike park expansion.
