Project Description

The Wasatch Hollow Preserve Riparian Restoration (Phase 2) will incorporate substantial elements of the Wasatch Hollow Open Space Comprehensive Restoration, Use and Management Plan (October, 2011) that was developed with significant public input through a structured decision-making process.

Salt Lake City Corporation Parks and Public Lands collected and incorporated public input for the project design elements through public meetings held in April, May, June & July (see schedule below). Project implementation is planned for late fall, 2014 through late spring, 2015. For public safety and protection of wildlife habitat, Wasatch Hollow Preserve will remain closed until project implementation is complete.
