New Photo Exhibit Highlights Local Businesses
“Risk Takers & Place Makers” features Salt Lake City entrepreneurs
SALT LAKE CITY – Local First Utah’s iconic traveling photo exhibition of the faces behind Utah's local business community, Risk Takers & Place Makers, will take over the first floor of the historic Salt Lake City & County Building, 451 South State Street, during the month of November.
This collaborative event follows the efforts and mission of the annual City-sponsored spring Neighborhood Business Conference. The event, held over the past three years, has focused on the importance of collaborative place making within Salt Lake City’s neighborhood business districts and the power of the dollar spent locally.
The photo exhibit will be on display for the entire month of November during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday (excluding holidays). Admission is free.  Please contact Jessica Thesing at 801-598-3749 or for more information.
Another event focused on the local business community is an upcoming networking mixer hosted by the VestPocket Business Coalition at the Salt Lake City & County Building on Nov. 15 from 5-8 p.m. RSVP is required.  For more information, or to reserve a place at the event, contact Matt Monson at 801-671-4304 or
