The Salt Lake City Fire Department has a long standing desire to be part of the neighborhoods in which we live and work. One of the many things we have to offer, besides providing emergency response, is to help educate city residents and businesses in matters of personal, fire and disaster safety. The effects that an accident, fire or natural disaster can have on our families and community are potentially devastating.
We believe that educating people is one of the most effective things we can do to have a positive influence in reducing these effects. To facilitate this goal, we strive to offer a host of timely, informative and useful educational programs to enhance the safety and well being of our citizens.
