Specialty = Haz-Mat Specialist, Paramedic, Airport Rescue Firefighter, Heavy Rescue Specialist, Investigator, Inspector and Engineer. In order to be eligible for a Specialty pay you must be on the department for 1 year, starting salary for these specialties takes that into account. Longevity pay is also included in these figures.
