About SLC LEPC+
  • LEPC+ is a community based organization composed of leaders from business and industry, schools, emergency management, public safety, media, government, volunteer organizations, and interested private citizens.
  • LEPC+ is co-sponsored by the Salt Lake City Office of Emergency Preparedness and the Salt Lake City Fire Department.

LEPC+ Mission Statement

  • To serve our community in all areas of emergency management including mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.
  • To serve with pride, integrity, dedication and professionalism.
  • To serve our community as a focal point for information and training about hazardous materials, Homeland Security, environmental risks, and all-hazards emergency management.

Involvement and Meetings

  • All individuals and organizations within Salt Lake City that have an interest in emergency preparedness are invited to participate. There are no dues or fees for membership.
  • Normally, meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the 5th floor auditorium of the Horizonte Center (1234 South Main Street, SLC). Meetings generally last 60 to 90 minutes.
