Snow Removal

By law, all Salt Lake City residents are required to clear their sidewalks of snow within twenty-four hours of each snow storm. The person required to remove the snow is the owner of the property. The fine is $25.00. There is a $25.00 late fee assessed every ten days. After two late notices have been sent, the owner will be summoned to Small Claims Court. The tenant may be responsible to reimburse the owner if there has been a signed agreement between the two.
