How much is my fine?
The fine amount assessed by the Judge using the Standard Bail Schedule as a guideline.
What could happen if I were to plead guilty?
The Judge would get your side of what happened and would look at any police reports, drivers license records and any other information to make a decision on your case.

What are your hours of operation?
The Court is in operation from 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, payments from 8:00am to 5:00pm. A clerk is available by phone between 8:00am and 5:00pm at 801-535-6300.

What is my bail amount? Please take a look at the bail schedules below.
State Bail Schedule- click here, to look up your bail amount. If the bail falls under the "Suggested Bail Security Surcharge" column, that is the bail due.

I received a citation for No Insurance, but had insurance, what do I do?
If you have received a traffic citation for No Insurance, the court requests proof of insurance on letterhead from your insurance carrier. The following information must be on letterhead:
- Court Case Number
- Attention: Traffic
- Your Full Name
- Date of Coverage (must be covered on the date of violation)
- Make of Vehicle
- Policy Number
- Agent Phone Number
- Agent's Signature
The letter head may be faxed to 801-535-6302 or emailed to traffic@slcgov.com
