Kris Vehrs acknowledges that Hogle Zoo and Tracy Aviary meet the
highest standards in the world, AZA accreditation, which is a major
milestone.  Accreditation differentiates Hogle Zoo and Tracy Aviary
from 2,500 licensed exhibitors in the United States.  AZA standards
signify excellence in animal care, professionalism, ethics, conservation,
and education. 

 

Kris Vehrs presents accreditation plaques to Jim Hogle and Craig
Dinsmore of the Hogle Zoo; and Tim Brown and Pete Taylor of the
Tracy Aviary.

Appreciation is shown by a round of applause for the great
achievementsby Hogle Zoo and Tracy Aviary. 


A joint ceremonial resolution by Mayor Becker and Salt Lake City
Council Members are presented to Craig Dinsmore of Hogle Zoo and
Pete Taylor of the Tracy Aviary. Carlton Christensen, Council chair,
and David Everitt, Mayor's Chief of staff, extend the City's congratulations.
