District 5 - Jill Remington Love,
Vice Chair

Jill Remington Love was re-elected in November of 2009 and
sworn into her third term of office on January 4, 2010. She
was also elected Vice Chair of the City Council. She
represents the constituents of Salt Lake City’s District
Five—an area that encompasses east, south and west of
Liberty Park extending to I-15. Ms. Love served as Chair of
the City Council in 2008 and 2004 and as the Vice Chair of
the City Council in 2007. She has also served as the 2006
Vice Chair of the Redevelopment Agency, as well as Vice
Chair of the City Council in 2003. She currently represents
the City Council on the board of the Utah League of Cities
and Towns and serves as the immediate past president.
