Jill Remington Love was re-elected in November of 2005 and sworn into her second term of office on January 3, 2006.  She represents the constituents of Salt Lake City’s District Five—an area that encompasses east, south and west of Liberty Park extending to I-15.  Ms. Love currently serves as the 2008 Chair of the City Council, and served in 2007 as the Vice Chair of the City Council.  She has also served as the 2006 Vice Chair of the Redevelopment Agency, the 2004 City Council Chair, as well as Vice Chair of the City Council in 2003.  She currently represents the City Council on the Board of the Utah League of Cities and Towns and serves as the 1^st Vice-President.
