KaBOOM! Playground Volunteer Day - November 6,  2008

Glendale received a new playground on November 6, 2008.  Salt Lake City and KaBOOM! worked together with Home Depot to build a new playground at the park located at 1200 West 1700 South.  KaBOOM!, a non-profit organization, received charitable support and volunteers from Home Depot, as well as matching funds from Salt Lake City Corporation. The City provided site preparation cots, as well as community volunteers to assist with building the playground.  The park was built in one day and this is a great amenity for the Glendale community.
