Night Out Against Crime Event on August 4, 2009
Council Member Van Turner hosts an annual Night Out
Against Crime parade event for Council District Two. The community
joined the 6 pm parade followed by a neighborhood gathering at 1313
California Avenue. The residents joined in this community building
event in an effort to collaborate to keep Council District Two
neighborhoods safe. Everyone enjoyed local entertainment, food,
international booths and prizes.
