[VolunteerMatch - Get out. Do good.]

Come join our Clubhouse mentor program! Have fun and work one-on-one with youth to create exciting projects with cutting-edge technology! Mentors are an invaluable asset in the Clubhouse. serve as the cornerstone for the Clubhouse. Mentors play an important role in each Computer Clubhouse, helping to support, inspire, and engage youth. Mentors are available to answer questions and support the exploration and learning of Clubhouse Members. For example, Mentors help youth create web pages, make their own animations, make videos, help conduct a web search, compose music, and much much more. Mentors act as guides, helping youth with their explorations, introducing new project ideas and technologies, as well as serving as role models.

Opportunities

Clubhouse Mentors are needed at all of the Computer Clubhouse locations within the Network to support the learning experiences of youth. Specific opportunities may exist for volunteers with a specific interest in working with a particular age group, girls, in one-on-one mentoring programs, or in supporting the Clubhouse-to-College/Clubhouse-to-Career Program.

Who are our Mentors?

Mentors are professionals and students in art, music, engineering, education, and a variety of other fields. No experience is necessary, just an interest in learning and working with young people and/or providing technical support a few hours each week...all while having fun!

Thank you to all who dedicate their time and energy.
