Northwest Quadrant Master Plan

The Northwest Quadrant Community includes Salt Lake City incorporated area located west of the Salt Lake City International Airport and 4000 West Street to the west City limits (approximately 8800 West Street) and from 2100 South Street to the north City limits.

Shaping the Future of the Northwest Quadrant Community

The master plan for the Northwest Quadrant community will guide new development, land use activities and zoning decisions. The Plan when complete, will reflect the values of the community and lay foundation for how the community will grow over time. Therefore, public participation is an integral part in formulating the master plan for the Lakeshore community. The City Council and the Administration are committed to the preparation of the Northwest Quadrant Master Plan. Planning work began in the fall of 2005 with an assessment of existing conditions. The planning process is expected to take 18-24 months and be completed by the fall of 2008.
