The Planning Process
Step 1: Historic Preservation in the City
Today
What are the components, resources, and processes of
the historic preservation program today? How is it functioning for the
city and property owners? During this phase, the planning team will
review existing documents and conduct broad-based outreach to create
an Existing Conditions Summary report describing the current program
and the “key issues” that should be addressed. The Existing Conditions
Summary report will form the background and context for the plan.
