Attention Salt Lake City Residents
Neighborhood Matching Grants funds are now available!
Salt Lake City Housing and Neighborhood Development accepts applications
on an on-going basis for the funds allocated by the Salt Lake City Council for the Neighborhood Matching Grant Program.
This program provides a cash match of up to $5,000 to a neighborhood or groups' contribution of volunteer labor (valued at $10.00 per hour), materials, professional services, and/or cash. Qualifying neighborhoods are awarded funds for specific projects that result in a
physical improvement to their neighborhood.
Some projects include decorative street lighting, neighborhood park
improvements, tree planting and many other physical improvements for neighborhoods. Funds may be used for projects that enhance safety, address a neglected problem or improve the physical appearance of a neighborhood.
For information regarding decorative street lights, contact Make
