Salt Lake City Department of Airports Avigation Easement Application Procedure

The following information is required to process an Avigation Easement:

1.

 Cover letter to the Salt Lake City Department of Airports regarding an Avigation Easement.  (Please be sure to include: applicant’s name, project address, property owner, and tax parcel number(s)).

2.

They are located on the second floor of Terminal 1 at Salt Lake City International Airport.
After the information requested above has been received, the airport staff will prepare an avigation easement and return it to the applicant for appropriate signatures and notarization.
After receiving the signed and notarized document from the applicant, the airport staff will forward the avigation easement to the County Recorder for recording.
After recording, a copy of the recorded easement will be forwarded to the applicant.
