through the budget process to efficiently provide services
requested by the City’s constituents. Under Utah State Law, all
municipalities must operate a balanced budget. This means
expenditures cannot exceed income. This requires elected
officials to prioritize.
In this exercise, Salt Lake
City is seeking a snapshot of your priorities after a careful
review of the budget process. The
