Dell

is rich in history. This area was part of a major emigration trail to the
west. The first group of pioneers to travel through the area was the
Donner-Reed Party in 1846. The Mormon Pioneers who settled in the
Salt
Lake Valley
used the trail from 1847 to 1860. The trail was also the Pony Express trail
from 1860 to 1861. Native Americans also frequented the area for thousands
of years.
