Construction material Concrete, asphalt, and roofing material will no longer be accepted. This material is very expensive to collect and can damage your curb and gutter, the street, and city vehicles. You should take this material to the landfill at 6030 W. 1300 South.
There has also been a problem with contractors dumping material into neighborhood cleanup piles. If you see this taking place, please write down the contractor's company name, date, time, address of illegal dumping, and type of material being dumped and report it to The Salt Lake Valley Health Department 313-6641. Contractors are responsible for removing their own material. This includes yard waste, construction, or any other thing a contractor should be removing from your home. Make sure that you agree to that before you sign a contract.
