Q. How do I hold an event at the Gallivan Center?

Q. Are all Gallivan Center events free and open to the public?
A. The Gallivan Center hosts a number of events - some are free, some cost a nominal fee and others are private (held by groups who rent the Plaza). Our Events calendar lists all public events.
 

 

Q. Where do I park while visiting the Gallivan Center?
A. Parking in downtown Salt Lake City can be intimidating to some people, but it is easier than you might think. Visit our parking & transportation page for details. Or just take TRAX directly to the Plaza.
 

 

Q. My band/group will be performing at the Gallivan Center and we need to know the specs for performances on the Gallivan stage.
A. Each event will have a different setup and sound equipment/lights available. Our basic setup for the summer is shown here. For more specific details, contact your Gallivan Event Representative.
 

 

Q. Can I bring my own food/drinks/alcohol/cameras to an event at the Gallivan Center?
A. Each event is different. Visit the Events calendar page and click on the event for details, or call 801.535.6110.
 

 

Q. My band wants to play at an event or create a concert of our own. Whom do I contact?
A. If you want to be part of a current Gallivan event, contact Tom Turner at 801.535.6137. If you'd like to create a new event or concert, contact Bart Walker, our Rental Manager, at 801.535.6113.
 

 

Q. Are there ATMs at the Gallivan Center?
A. No. But there is one at the corner of Main Street and 200 South. There is also one inside the Marriott City Center, just to the east of the Plaza.
