Living Traditions Craft Demonstrators
Exceptional examples of traditional crafts from many cultures are created on-site at the Living Traditions Festival by masters of their respective artforms. These craft artists have acquired the skills and techniques passed on through generations or learned through apprenticeships. These traditional crafts are presented under a series of canopies where the artist shares the story of how they became interested and the history of their artform. Most of the materials used such as wood, fruit, flowers and clay are part of the story as well. Many of the Living Traditions craft demonstrators have been recognized with awards for excellence.
